Diren aramid plans to increase Twaron aramid yarn capacity

Diren aramid fiber announced on December 20 that it plans to increase Twaron fiber production capacity by more than 25%. This additional capacity will be completed within the next five years. With the expansion of production capacity, diren aramid fiber will be able to meet the future market demand and provide customers with the materials they need to help them stand out in the market.

The demand of Teheran high performance Twaron aramid fiber has been increasing and the market prospect is optimistic. Aramid growth is one of the group's key strategies, with annual growth forecast at 8 per cent. The company is determined to ensure this growth and will provide customers with quality services to work together. Diren aramid aims to capture most of the growth in the global market, eventually giving it a future market share of more than 50 per cent. The company plans several large-scale investments to increase capacity, including the use of new technologies.

Since 1999, teiren aramid has increased its Twaron production capacity by 130 percent through the introduction of lean methods and internal optimization plans. Teiren aramid is determined to maintain this practical way of working. The company will continue to invest in factories and adopt new technologies to ensure economies of scale. This will enable the company to keep up with market demand and market competitiveness, while meeting the needs of customers.

The increased total capacity is scheduled to be completed by 2022. As announced in July 2017, aramid is currently implementing new spinning technologies at Twaron in emman, the Netherlands. The additional capacity invested will be completed in May 2018.
